TECHNOLOGIES AND PROCESSES
Turning:
The process optimization, through preparatory works, creation of own special toolings, pre-setting with the use of the more updated TPM criteria, presence of lubrication central system using refrigerated high-pressure cutting oils, optical controls, live process capacity during the production, let each customer have an high-precision metal findings suitable in each application field.
The company has a wide range of machines able to make metallic parts for small or high series, using:
- Camshaft or CN monospindle turning machines
- Camshaft or CN multispindle turning machines
- Multispidle Transfer machine (machining center)
suitable to work metallic bars from Ø2 to Ø65 mm or metallic wires from Ø1.2 to Ø8 mm.
External Grinding Machine:
Where it is necessary to reach an high surface precision, the company owns high-quality surface and profile processes, even with the support of homologated suppliers; in detail:
- Horizontal-spindle Grinding Machines
- Centreless Through-feed or Plunge Grinding Machines
So the company is able to make products with the tightest shape tolerances (perpendicularity, circularity, concentricity) and the tightest surface roughness, especially required by Automotive, Pneumatic Automation, ElectroHydraulics, Medical markets.
Additional Operations:
The company owns additional processes to complete the final shape of the products, in case of small quantities or serial production; in detail drilling, threading, milling, broaching operations, using transfer machines with spring collets or clamps, work centers, dedicated units.
Automated assembling and checking:
The company owns assembling and checking processes to make finished or semi-finished products, even for small quantities or serial production. Using the most modern technologies, with electro-pneumatic or hydraulic controls, each handling and assembling unit is greatly equipped by Poka-yoke systems, Leakage tests, functional controls as the coupling force analysis, in order to meet the strongest customer requirements.
Record SPA owns skilful employees with a proper know-how in term of field experience and knowledge, in order to co-operate with the customer and to design assembling units and machines to create a custom-made product, answering to specific customer requirements.
Plastic molding – Rubber Vulcanization:
Record SPA uses high-quality technologies and processes, making use of consolidated co-operations with certified and homologated skilled suppliers in order to fulfil the wider product requirements. In detail:
- Injection Vulcanization Pressing Machine: this vulcanization system is preferred for medium-large quantities, using not shaped strips of rubber, fed inside a spinning screw and injected directly into the mold through a plunger.
- Compression Vulcanization Pressing Machine: this vulcanization system is preferred for small quantities or a sample activity.
- Vulcanization pressing transfer machine with “fabric”: this vulcanization system is the combination between the above mentioned systems, with the target to make products with an high-precision shape and limited rubber waste for the presence of the “fabric”.
Due to these 3 different vulcanization systems, the customers can receive a wide range of products with the strongest dimensional tolerances, for different markets, such as Automotive, Bike-Motorbike-Truck-Avion, household electrical appliances and in general industrial appliances.
Braze Welding:
The company own two dedicated braze-welding installations to create metallic pipe connections or specific valve connections to be used in a wide range of markets, such as thermo-sanitary elements, pressure switches and so on.
The consolidated technology of triode induction soldering system, using dioxide elements such as silvered rings between the part to be soldered and the triode, let the own process to be stable during the time and to be flexible, answering to a wide range of requests from the Final Customers in a short time.
Thermal and Galvanic Surface Treatments:
The company RECORD SPA uses high-quality technologies and processes, making use of consolidated co-operations with certified and homologated skilled suppliers, in order to fulfil the wider product requirements. In detail:
- Thermal Treatments: i.e. case-hardening, nitriding, tempering, stress-fee annealing, induction hardening, vacuum tempering;
- Galvanic Surface Treatment: e. phosphatizing, nickel plating, zinc coating, passivation, anodizing, tumble finishing;
Through the above mentioned treatments, the products reach an high-quality surface feature, under an aesthetical point of view and resistant to environmental attack.
Marking, custom-made packaging:
The company is able to offer custom-designed laser marking of the products, special packaging, also using blisters and applying custom-made identifications. In addition the company is extremely careful about the cleanliness, storage, traceability of the packed products, using the most updated SW systems and, where necessary, organizing at own charge the cost of the delivery service.
