HISTORY
OFFICINA DANTE BERETTA, in the form of a small lab located in Bonate Sotto – BG, starts the production of metallic turned valve and components for the cycle market.
The valve production gets the biggest share and during this time Dante Beretta files the first patents for tire valves.
From a contract basis production, the small lab “Dante Beretta” takes the name of Record and launches on the market its own set of products.
The new company is built in a strategic location, getting bigger in the European market as a tire valve manufacturer.

A new brand is created for the company. The logo, designed by the founder Dante Beretta, reproduces the shape of the VIGORELLI velodrome in Milan; the stadium used to host the “RECORD DELL’ORA” race (literal meaning: ONE-HOUR RECORD RACE), from which the company took its name. Dante’s passion for the cycle world was strong and constant over its life as shown by the sponsorships of different teams.

The grown in technical expertise allows to realize automatic assembling machines within the company, shaping itself in term of flexibility and competitiveness.
Record formally changes business structure, from an individual enterprise it becomes a partnership company.

The new plant is built and the old one is renewed. A strong investment policy lead to a modernizing in the machineries, allowing a better quality in products and an increase in the production capacity.
In collaboration with the Industrial Phisics Department at University of Bergamo – faculty of engineering, RECORD begins a joint research project with the aim of defining a standard for the valuation of the thermo-hydraulic performances of a new valve mechanism.
A new patent is filed: “VALVE MECHANISM FOR A THERMO HYDRAULIC SYSTEM, PARTICULARLY FOR HIGH PRESSURES”
Record S.p.A specializes in the turning of steel, with the goal of increasing the metal findings and the industrial valve markets.
A new investments plan is launched together with the addition of new personnel, the goal is to increase competences and quality in every phase of the industrial process.
Record files the patent for Dual Valve. This projects represents a single valve allowing the passage of air through two different inner tubes, with different pressures. Filed in Italy in 2014 and at international status in 2016.
PRO-CORE Schwalbe Project
The company undergoes different projects with the view to improve the energy consumption.
Record introduces in each production flow a capability study. It implements tools and statistics software to monitor real time the processes, products and quality measurement systems. OEE, TPM SPC, Cp/Cpk, MSA, R&R, Cg/Cgk.
Restyling of the old logo and renewing of the company brand
New investments in technology, in compliance with the industry 4.0 standards.
